Tonight's dinner was a pulled pork sandwich, with a side salad and watermelon.
My mom bought me a jar of Pulled Pork Starter from Williams-Sonoma, so I ventured off to Whole Foods again this weekend to purchase a 3 1/2 lb boneless shoulder pork roast.
This morning before church, I browned the pork in a skillet on all sides for about 7 minutes in 2T of canola oil. Then I transferred it to the crockpot and added the jar of Starter. I let it cook in the crockpot for about 7 hours...just in time for dinner. All I had to do was pull the meat apart (so tender) and put it on a bun. I cut up the salad and watermelon and we were all set. My husband and kids really enjoyed this meal!
